Beautiful girls!
Hi, Serena -
Aren't grandkids the greatest?! We had several here visiting in our home last week from Virginia.
You were on my list to contact, too, after I saw what YOU wrote Monday in Keith Brenton's blog, because I really liked what you had to say, as well. I'd already "peeked" here, but hadn't taken the time to write.
But, I've got to ask you a question - how on earth did you end up in Post?! I grew up in Abernathy, just north of Lubbock and we played football and basketball against Post when I was growing up and we drive through Post once in a while coming up there from Abilene, where my mom and sister now live.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today and for writing to me. I don't know if you went back to read the Mar. 1 and Feb. 18 entries, but do, because in both I refer to Matt. 25:34-36 and they both pretty much sum up what I think Christianity is all about, although in very different ways.
As a former journalist and someone who now is unable to work full time, I'm trying to use the blog to really uplift others and give them a lot things to think about, but in a gentle and often humorous way.
I'm going to be checking in on you, too, because we seem to have the same mindset about a lot of things.
Hope you get to see your new granddaughter soon!
Dee
Correction! I just realized I gave you the wrong date to look at. It's March 11, not March 1. Sorry, Serena (what a beautiful name).
Dee
