I grew up in a military family and lived in Europe when I was young. I met my husband at a Christian camp outside of Washington, D. C. We have been married 31 years, have two married children and four grandchildren. I have worked in public education for several years -- first as a teacher and then as a counselor.

Almost 50? That caught my eye. I will be in January. I hope it is easier for you to grasp than me. This is the only birthday I have ever struggled with.
